The Life We Almost Had by Amelia Henley

About the book:

This is not a typical love story, but it’s our love story.

Anna wasn’t looking for love when Adam swept her off her feet but there was no denying their connection, and she believed they would be together forever.

Years later, cracks have appeared in their relationship. Anna is questioning whether their love can really be eternal when a cruel twist of fate delivers a crushing blow, and Anna and Adam are completely lost to one another. Now, Anna needs Adam more than ever, but the way back to him has life-changing consequences.

Is a second chance at first love really worth the sacrifice? Anna needs to decide and time is running out…

A beautiful and emotional love story that asks, how far would you go for a second chance at first love? Perfect for fans of The Man Who Didn’t Call and Miss You.

Wow!! This was such an emotional read! I can’t thank @readforeverpub enough for sending this my way. The last time I got this emotional was Firefly Lane… so yes… I ugly cried. 😭😭😭

“This is not a typical love story, but it’s our love story.”

OMGGG my heart.❤️ So I knew I was in for it when I read the amazing reviews.

Anna and Adam met by chance… a whirlwind romance… πŸ’ they vow it is forever…

Yet…. years later they find themselves bickering and a bit bitter… they know they have to do something to mend… yet… everything is about to change….and Anna is devastated..πŸ₯Ί… Anna cried… I cried… we all did..😭Can this ever turn into a HEA?? That is Happily Ever After. πŸ˜‰

I am completely emotionally drained after reading this… this book destroyed me…and you know it is a good thing when an author can do that to you!!! ❤️

I didn’t realize going in that Amelia Henley …is also Louise Jensen!😳🀫…I have read two of her thrillers and loved them both!!! ❤️

Again thank you for this absolutely stunning gifted copy @readforeverpub !!πŸ₯°

❤️❤️ Have you read this one?? What is the last book that made you ugly cry?? I rarely cry over a book so…you know this was good!

Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister

About the book:

Can you stop a murder after it’s already happened?

Late October. After midnight. You’re waiting up for your seventeen-year-old son. He’s late. As you watch from the window, he emerges, and you realize he isn’t alone: he’s walking toward a man, and he’s armed.

You can’t believe it when you see him do it: your funny, happy teenage son, he kills a stranger, right there on the street outside your house. You don’t know who. You don’t know why. You only know your son is now in custody. His future shattered.

That night you fall asleep in despair. All is lost. Until you wake . . .

. . . and it is yesterday.

And then you wake again . . .

. . . and it is the day before yesterday.

Every morning you wake up a day earlier, another day before the murder. With another chance to stop it. Somewhere in the past lies an answer. The trigger for this crime—and you don’t have a choice but to find it . . .

Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan

About the book:

Named one of the Best Beach Reads of Summer 2022 by The Washington Post - USA Today - Cosmopolitan - Southern Living - Country Living - Business Insider - Buzzfeed - Book Riot - The Augusta Chronicle

Nora's life is about to get a rewrite...

Nora Hamilton knows the formula for love better than anyone. As a romance channel screenwriter, it's her job. But when her too-good-to work husband leaves her and their two kids, Nora turns her marriage's collapse into cash and writes the best script of her life. No one is more surprised than her when it's picked up for the big screen and set to film on location at her 100-year-old-home. When former Sexiest Man Alive, Leo Vance, is cast as her ne'er do well husband Nora's life will never be the same.

The morning after shooting wraps and the crew leaves, Nora finds Leo on her porch with a half-empty bottle of tequila and a proposition. He'll pay a thousand dollars a day to stay for a week. The extra seven grand would give Nora breathing room, but it's the need in his eyes that makes her say yes. Seven days: it's the blink of an eye or an eternity depending on how you look at it. Enough time to fall in love. Enough time to break your heart.

Filled with warmth, wit, and wisdom, Nora Goes Off Script is the best kind of love story--the real kind where love is complicated by work, kids, and the emotional baggage that comes with life. For Nora and Leo, this kind of love is bigger than the big screen.

This book managed to take me on an emotional roller coaster 🎒 and I didn’t even realize it until the end! 🀷‍♀️

Have you ever gotten so angry 😠 at a character… that you really didn’t even realize you were that unglued about it? Well πŸ™Œ @annabelmonaghan was able to do just that…and I LOVED it!! ❤️

It’s sooo hard to review this without giving away anything!! So ….less is more here… 🀫… Nora is just a normal mom of two… living life.. in a normal town.. doing normal things..😬…then her jerk of a husband leaves her… but Nora has the last laugh…πŸ˜‰…she writes about their life.. and well.. it gets picked up for a major πŸŽ₯ movie!! You go girl!! πŸ‘‹ Bye bye Ben!! πŸ˜‚

Suddenly the “sexiest man alive” is walking across her lawn.. as he is the star of her movie! 😍 This is where I have to stop! πŸ˜‚πŸ€ Just know… things went really sideways.. and well… I got really upset..🀫

This ending!!! I will sum it up..πŸ˜ πŸ˜πŸ€¨πŸ€”πŸ™„πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

All the stars ⭐️ for this one! Now I know why this has a ton of 5 stars reviews!! Loved it!! Go Nora!! πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ This book was just what I needed!

The Killer . . .

As Rose's fragmented memories resurface, and the police dig ever deeper, Saffy fears she and the cottage are being watched.

Thank you so much Partner @bibliolifestyle @harperperennial for this gorgeous gifted copy and having me along on this book tour!!πŸ₯° Pub date: August 2nd! Out nowπŸŽ‰

Have you guys met the new couple over at 9 Skeleton Place? I have!! They are just the cutest couple! 😍Saffron “Saffy” and Tom are just the nicest… and they are expecting! 🀰

What a shock it must have been to be in the middle of renovating their new place… and finding bodies…😳…buried in the garden πŸͺ΄ πŸͺ¦ OMG…😧Who is buried in the garden?? Who did it??? How did the nosey neighbors… not see a thing??πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

Certainly grandma πŸ‘΅ Rose 🌹.. the previous owner wouldn’t have had anything to do with this heinous crime?! Did she know bodies were buried in her backyard? Will we ever know??? Gran Rose can’t even remember her own daughter?πŸ˜₯

I loved this slow burn πŸ”₯ … creepy vibe was sooo TWISTED!!! The further we get into the story.. the more twisted it got! 😳

So many twists… and of course… the bodies in the backyard..πŸͺ¦… made for a fantastic read!! I really enjoyed this one and definitely recommend it!! 4.2 rating on Goodreads!! Just saying… it’s a good one!! I mean I was sold at bodies in the garden.πŸ˜‚πŸ€·‍♀️

Thank you again @bibliolifestyle @harperperennial for having me on this tour!! 😘😘😘

This was my first @clairedouglasauthor book and I loved it!! Have you read this one? Is it on your list? Have you read any of her other books? I need to start on her backlist!! πŸ–€ Would you sell this house? πŸ€” I think I would!! πŸ˜‚
