It's all about the thrill: December 2022

Happy New Year! I have had such a fantastic reading year. It was really hard to narrow it down to a top 10 but these are some that really stood out for me!

These are in no particular order- as I could not pick- I loved them all so much!!

The Overnight Guest was my first read of 2022 and I KNEW instantly that it would be on my top 10 list! It is so good!

Never Coming Home- A new to me author and I have since read 3 of her books this year! I LOVED to hate Lucas! You MUST meet him!

Before You Knew My Name- Phenomenal debut! Blew me away and broke my heart into a million pieces! Could not stop thinking about it!

The Family Upstairs- This book officially made me a Lisa Jewell fangirl! GIVE ME ALL THE LISA JEWELL BOOKS! No seriously please do! Keep scrolling because ....the sequel made it to my list too!

The Family Remains- OKAY...I loved this even MORE than The Family Upstairs...I did not think that was even possible. I can't get enough of this creepy, crazy family!

The Lies I Tell- I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN! So many cons, so much karma! SO good!

The Lucky One- OMG SO GOOD! She escapes a serial killer...enough said! Creepy as hell! I LOVED IT!

The Bodyguard- It is official! I have a new book boyfriend! OMG Jake! I could not stop thinking about this book....and Jake! LOL

Forever is the Worst Long Time- I am really late to the party with this one...but WOW...this book felt so real. I ugly cried, I smiled...I LOVED it! This author is a MUST read for me!

You Shouldn't Have Come Here- NOW this is how you write a thriller! One of the most brilliant endings I have come across in a long time! Out in 2023- You don't want to miss this one!

Best Day Ever- This was a reread for me. I NEVER reread.. but I did...because I LOVE this book. I wanted to mention it because it is truly one of my favorites of all time! Read it for Paul....trust me...you need to meet him......I really hope we get to see more of Paul one day!

Okay first off… someone in this book will definitely be buying their own gifts 🎁… because they have been very bad! 😉 They are definitely The Kind to Kill… and well that doesn’t make santa 🎅 very happy…🤨

SHANA is back!! Who doesn’t love a character that escaped being held captive by a serial killer…🤷‍♀️ Pretty impressive right?! Except this tough as nails detective is getting a bit unnerved when she is seeing a much too familiar pattern of… murder…unfolding..🤐

Dead ☠️ Girls Don’t Lie…🤔…Is there a copycat killer on the loose? My book bestie @diagnosisbookaholic and I buddy read this. I blew up his messages with.. oh I know who did it… oh no wait.. it’s really this person…😂.. Wrong… wrong.. wrong..🙄 I NEVER guessed who it was…🖤but I sure tried..

Can we talk about that ending?!! Oh wait we can’t! 😂🤫🤐🤐🤐 I really hope we are going to see another in this series!! I need to know how this ending pans out! 🤔

5 killer stars!! I continue to love where this series takes us!! Fast short chapters… lots of suspects.. PERFECT!! 👏👏
