A medical thriller with a unique storyline that kept me intrigued from start to finish?! Yes please! Wow! I loved The Night Olivia Fell and I loved this book also. This book will have you questioning your judgement of right from wrong....trust me you will!  Would  you do what Emma did?  Sometimes it is just a gray area...

A doctor, a wife, a mother...Emma is all...mostly she is a human being and she has to do what her entire soul is telling her to do...save her child....even if her husband is a detective.

A physician takes an oath to Do No Harm, yet is that always as clear cut as one might think? What if it is something that indirectly might do someone harm? Oh this book had me invested from the very first page. So many important topics addressed, yet in a manner that it didn't overwhelm the storyline- the cost of medical treatment, opioid addiction, naloxone use- just because you have it, doesn't mean it will save you...devastating but true... I love that she worked that all into the story. So many fine details that I really appreciated. 

As an ER nurse..do I think this is realistic? Absolutely! This taut thriller that kept me glued to the pages could really happen and probably has....

OMG 😳  This is my kind of thriller! Just like that my top 10 of the year books have a new addition.  Add this one to the list! I absolutely loved this book. From the very first page to the very last this was a 5 star read for me the entire way.

Thornfield Estates is all about keeping up with your neighbors...literally. When one neighbor gets a dog walker, well they all HAVE to have a dog walker too. Why on earth do all these "ladies of leisure" need a dog walker?

Meet the dog walker...Jane...she is new to town...nobody knows much about Jane..she drives a crappy car...she doesn't have the best style..yet they all let Jane in their McMansions...why you ask??? Well...it's the cool thing to do...

When Eddie decided he "needs" the dog walker in a different way then most..well the dog walker quickly fleets up to the domestic goddess of the neighborhood,sipping cocktails with the other ladies of leisure.....then things get really interesting..see Eddie's wife is missing.......

OMG there are thrillers and then there are thrillers that are MY kind of thrillers. This was my favorite type! I love a character that is flawed and one where we get a look into their innermost thoughts....that just happen to be a bit twisted and defiantly snarky...throw in some dark humor and  I am in....LOVE!!!

This book kept me on my toes the entire time and I was completely invested in every character...which they all had some dark, twisted secrets...I can't recommend this book enough. One of my favorite books of the entire year! Defiantly on my top 10!!

Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano

 

 

OMG I LOVED this book! When the dedication page says...for Ashley and Megan because I would bury a body with either of you...well you know it is going to be good!

Finlay is several things...a writer, a mom, a sister, a contract killer...who knew murder could be so much fun?! I sure didn't.
Outrageous...sure!
Funny...Yes!
A unique plot that kept me glued to the pages...absolutely!
Do I want more Finlay?....Yes, yes, yes please!!

After being banned from Panera for bad behavior.. Finlay decided to meet her book agent at...well Panera of course! Certainly she could meet her agent at another restaurant, but in typical Finlay style..Panera it is! This fiasco continues on a downward spiral when she is mistaken for a contract killer while discussing her latest book ideas!

This book puts the F in fun! It is such an original plot that is was so refreshing to read. It was a part thriller, mystery with a side of twisted humor- all wins in my book!

The ending was perfection! It hints at the fact that there may be a follow up to this book. OMG let it be so! Sign me up for more Finlay Donovan!

 This my friends...is a thriller! I must say it has been a long time since I have been this blindsided by a thriller...and multiple times at that! What a wild ride this was!

Sam and his new wife Annie are looking to escape the big city and back to Sam's hometown. The thing is Sam is hotter than my coffee and Annie knows it. She knows he turns heads without even trying and she knows he was quite the popular dude in town before he left. So going back to his small hometown may be a bit challenging...

So when Sam sets up his psychology office in the gorgeous Lawrence House...well you can't blame a person for wanting to keep an eye on him. When the French girl in the mini cooper shows up...well..I must admit I was worried about Sam's state of mind.

This book went from crazy to crazier! I loved it! The twists and turns were so brilliant that I never even imagined they were a possibility! If you are looking to get out of a thriller slump...this is the book for you!
