Can't Wait Wednesday

You know what time it is...........yep it is time for a little Can't Wait Wednesday! Whew, this week just flew by. If you have not heard yet, this is a time where I share with you what myself and my Traveling Sisters or Traveling Friends groups @lost in a coulee are really excited about reading together. This is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, which is based on Waiting on Wednesday by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

I could hardly contain myself when I found out Norma and Brenda who organize our reads had scheduled yet another Sharon Bolton book for this month! Daisy in Chains! I am still on a reading high from reading The Craftsman earlier this week as I know my Traveling Sisters are also. Don't just take my word for it, please pop over to see what Brenda & Norma at Two Sisters Lost in a Coulee have to say!

Until last week I had never read a Sharon Bolton book ( I know, crazy right)?! What was I thinking? This Goodreads Summary is short and sweet, but just enough to let me know this is going to be my type of book! I just have a little more to say, keep paging down........

 Famous killers have fan clubs.

Hamish Wolfe is no different. Locked up for the rest of his life for the abduction and murder of three young women, he gets countless adoring letters every day. He's handsome, charismatic and very persuasive. His admirers are convinced he's innocent, and that he's the man of their dreams.

Who would join such a club?

Maggie Rose is different. Reclusive and enigmatic; a successful lawyer and bestselling true-crime writer, she only takes on cases that she can win.

Hamish wants her as his lawyer, he wants her to change his fate. She thinks she's immune to the charms of a man like this. But maybe not this time . . .

I am so glad we are going to get to read this together because basically I have a group of people that I can freak out with along the way.  See actual footage below....

I must say I am glad we are reading these two Sharon Bolton books in October, it just feels right! I can't wait to meet Hamish and see what twisted tale the author has in store for us this time.

 Sharon Bolton

Sharon J Bolton was born and brought up in Lancashire, the eldest of three daughters. As a child, she dreamed of becoming an actress and a dancer, studying ballet, tap and jazz from a young age and reading drama at Loughborough University.

She spent her early career in marketing and PR before returning to full-time education to study for a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Warwick University, where she met her husband, Andrew. They moved to London and Sharon held a number of PR posts in the City. She left the City to work freelance, to start a family and to write.

She and Andrew now live in a village in the Chiltern Hills, not far from Oxford, with their son and the latest addition to the family: Lupe, the lop-eared lurcher. Her daily life revolves around the school run, walking the dog and those ever-looming publishing deadlines.
